StuntSkills - Oran Park January 20th, 2008

Postby benaylen » Mon Dec 10, 2007 1:23 pm

Thanks to Hecko for posting up the date of the next StuntSkills on this thread - http://forums.cunningstunts.com/viewtopic.php?t=692

Which leads me to my next question, who's going?

I'll be there to give Keyworth some coaching on circles :)

It's $120 if you pay early. There is a thread about it on OzStuntBikes forum.

I'm hoping to drag my butt up there and do some more photos. Will have to see a bit closer to the time.

Sorry for the late reply. This is the post from Corey about the run down of the day:

OOO wrote:Its on again guys and girls. 20th january next year, the first or 2008 and around 9 to follow. I'd love to see interstate riders come down for this one. we have QLD and VIC riders at the days so if you want to come up, hook up a road trip with a few carloads and make it up for the 20th.

here are the details:

Stunt Skills is on again 2Oth JANUARY 2008 @ Oran Park Entry from 8:30am.

RIDERS THAT PAY AT LEAST 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE $120
RIDERS THAT PAY ON THE DAY $140
The reason for the price change is coz THE SEPTEMBER stuntskills i had 25 riders say they were commig so i went paid and book'd the track and had not even half turn up, witch had me putting my hand into my own pocket and paying the shortfall of $480 + i stood there for 8 hours non stop and waved flags all day in the heat for my trouble's. so discount for those that pay early and $20 more for those who dont

- 2 Cold Drinks supplied on the day

- Cooked Breakfast or Lunch provided

- Riding starts at 9:30am and finishes at 4:30pm

The Following Gear is Required: (there are no exceptions area's for ""pro's"")

1. DOT or AS1698 Approved Motorcycle Helmet.

2. Motorcycle Jacket

3. Motorcycle Gloves

4. Motorcycle Riding Pants OR Jeans with Knee Guards.

5. Motorcycle Riding Boots OR Boots that are sturdy, cover the ankle, and can not be pulled off when done up. (NO WORK BOOTS)

You bike will need to have the following working

1. Throttle Return operating and throttle doesn’t stick.

2. Front brake is operational

3. Rear brake is operational

4. Kill Switch/Ignition turns off bike.

I've paid Corey for Stunt Skills and will be there for sure on my fiddy. 8)

There are still plenty of spots left so for anyone reading this thinking about going, ring Corey now on 0438 677 250.

You don't need to be stunt rider to go, you don't need a stunt bike, hell you don't even need rego or a license. Bring your bike along, practice wheelies, burnouts, wind your bike out to whatever speed up and down the tarmac. It'll be fun. Ring Corey. Do it now :!:

I'm there....

I was thinking of havin a blat on Keys F4i but $140 is too much for the 10 mins I'd end up getting to ride it.......

I'll come up to watch though. I won't be taking pics because Jonno is coming to sort that out and his gear shits all over mine, as he's a photographer primarily instead of playing at it like I do.

Give me the keys to the bike over a camera anyday!!

If anyone is keen to get some good pics email Jonno Walmsley (he's in our contacts area) and work a deal!
