Pro - cheap :)
Pro - impossible to bang your shins on :)
Con - probably wouldn't protect the engine

What do you boys think? I'm not interested (already got one) but thought I'd point it out for interests sake.

you have to still run a normal cage, the subcages just protect your muffler and stuff

there are a few few companies in the states that make sub cages now. i'll be getting one for the rr from one of the guys off stuntlife. Old Man Roger (OMR subcage). he makes his subcages custom for the model bike. for e.g: the rr doesnt have a comfy rear peg position for stagered wheelies. he fixes this buy moving the rear pillion peg down and out so not only have you increased the strength of the subfrmae, but now have a more comfy position to stand in while doin your wheelies :)
all the other companies just make them the same as factory, but it will increase the strength of the subframe wich is its purpose :)
one day i will think of something smart to put here
