Ummm as things go from mildly ok to catastrophic...
News from Orange is that a rider (not Keasty or his mate, but that dude on the blue bike who was going crazy), took out a spectator in a high speed collision... The spectator has been taken to hospital and is in a coma. This is unfortunate thing to happen and I think its hit Keasty pretty hard too, cause he has his bike for sale now on OSB.
We've lost the runway 100% now, but thats not the issue. Having spectators standing close to the track is dangerous, so for future events we plan on holding we should keep spectator safety in mind regardless of the level of riding or whether the friends trust their mates riding near or around them. If you have no reason to be on the track (ie: Camera man or track official, etc), you are standing back and keeping distance.
