Do you need an injected bike to do some stunts???

Postby kYE » Wed Jun 08, 2005 2:26 pm

I've been told that carbed bikes are no good for 12's?

Corey yours seems to do it ok?

What are the advantages of having an injected bike and can a carbed bike be modded to do the same??

Cheers again!

My VTR was carb'd, one thing i noticed with going from carb to injection is that the throttle response is much quicker which i'm not sure if that is better or not.... i liked the lazy carbs on the vtr... made it more predictable..

Also, injection bikes are better for stoppies...compared to carbs. :)

ditto VTR, the carb bikes are much more agressive on the throttle, but you can get use to it

Yeah, VTR, they do flood bad after a stoppie. But I 'spose thats not the end of the world. It just sounds bad spluttering and farting and blowing all that unburnt fuel out the back. But hey, not worth buying another bike over.

The only reason i could think to not stunt the zx9 has just been blow out the window. Cheers.

I'll do what you suggest Corey, and get used to it.
