Stunt bike mods

Postby STREET ELITE ALEX » Fri Jun 24, 2005 3:37 pm

HI all STREET ELITE ALEX here. i would like to know about some of the modifications that other stunters have done to their bikes besides cage, 12 bar and sprocket, that they have found help them stunt just that little bit better. ie TONI D's pegs on his forks or Dustin Apgars Bomerang on his hangers. I thinks this would be a good place to find out what others are doing and share ideas.

Hi Alex, it's a good idea for a thread.

Unfortunetly I'm a bit boring as far as mod's to my bike go, unless of course you count my continual re-modelling of the fairing, headlights etc every time I crash

Although, I have wired the thermo fan so that it's on all the time, and I've cut away a large section of the lower fairing near the Exup valve to help keep the bike cooler when doing burnouts.

cheers

Paul

heya,
my bike is a mod in constant progress....

first she went from the red Honda for the road, to Scarlett with LOADS of mods for the track.....

.....too many crashes later, she is turning into SCARR, from a pretty smic looking F4i, to streetfigher babe.... Corey will post up when shes finished....

What I am curious about, is how all her track mods will fit in with stunting, and how much I am going to have to change suspension, power etc etc....

will let you know how I go if you are interested.
May a flea climb up my ass find happiness.

A good mod I saw once was a small halogen spotlight under the bike pointing down towards the road. The switch was next to the starter so he could clearly see where he was going when doing wheelies at night.
