tilt switch location

tilt switch location

hi guys long time no speak i have just purchased a new bike an 02/03 gsxr600 i would like to know where the tilt switch is located and how to piss it off thanks :twisted:

Should be a smallish black box in front of the battery on the front of that plastic tray.Is in a rubber mount.Easiest fix is to open it up, it has a ring that slides over a U shaped contact.Fill the switch with hotmelt glue or similar so the ring stays in the center and you're done :wink:
You may want to run some sort of lanyard kill switch as the bike will continue to run upside down with no oil pressure if you drop it........


JB have you done anything with your switch or still stock :?:

Suzuki's dont have the same probs Bender and his Honda's do!

LOL, yeah I found out with my head in Tasmania that if you don't wire it on and it goes off in a wheelie it makes for a big fuggin headache!!!
